Molly M. Howard

Molly M. Howard is the founding partner of Howard Barker Lane, P.C. and currently of counsel to the firm. She has been practicing family law in Savannah for more than forty years. Prior to founding the firm, Mrs. Howard was a Partner and civil litigator at Hunter, Maclean, Exley & Dunn, P.C. In addition to her practice, the Court frequently appoints Mrs. Howard to serve as Guardian ad litem in family law cases. She has appeared before the Georgia Supreme Court and successfully prosecuted and defended appeals before that tribunal.
Mrs. Howard is originally from Durham, North Carolina. She graduated from the University of Georgia magna cum laude with honors in 1976 and received her law degree from the University of Georgia in 1979. Mrs. Howard is married to Dr. Armstrong Jolly Howard IV, with whom she has two sons, Frank and Jeff.
Mrs. Howard is actively involved in the community. She was a 1988 graduate of Leadership Savannah, a member of the Junior League of Savannah, a member of the Telfair Museum, a middle school Sunday School teacher, and chair of the Church Counsel at Isle of Hope United Methodist Church.
